Question by V: Simple Chili Recipe In Crock Pot?
I’m trying to put together a simple chili recipe with what I have at home now. I’m out of canned tomatoes and don’t have any fresh ones. I have canned tomato soup but not tomato sauce. I’ve got plenty of varies types of beans, ground beef, onions, green peppers and spices. I know it’s tough to make without certain ingredients. However I’m really hoping someone can give me the inspiration.

Any thoughts with what I’ve got listed above? I’d also like to do it in the crock pot, I really like how it turns out when it has a chance to really simmer.

Thanks for the help!
Thanks for the advice. I don’t have tomatoes though. Wish I did. They also help to make great chili.

I have never had a recipe for chili. But you have what makes it great!
Brown the ground beef, add the onions and peppers to cook them a little.
Add the spices and tomatoes and beans, as many as you want. I have never used tomato soup, but it would probably work. Then cook it, a crock pot is good but not necessary.
I think what you have will make some fantastic chili…
