Question by Jeanne B: Would you give me a good recipe for a pomegranite salad dressing?
I tasted one this week and suddenly fell in love with the fruity salad dressings I had turned my nose up on before. My mind is open!

Here’s the one I use, It’s a Pomegranate Lemon dressing.

1/4 cup- POM wonderful juice
1/4 cup- Fresh Lemon juice
1/4 cup- sugar
1/2 cup- canola oil
1tsp- salt
1tsp- freshly ground pepper

Put ingredients in blender, and turn it on medium for a few seconds. Taste your dressing to make sure it’s blended well.

  4. @magirecords2004 Good for you! We do a reduced meat lifestyle. A lot of
    people who eat raw all the time don’t realize the parasites they are
    getting and which purgatives to use. I am half Pennsy Dutch Amish-type and
    learned a lotta this stuff from relatives, growing up. People also travel
    carelessly, walk barefoot on beaches in Costa Rica & stuff & wonder why
    they never get their health back. I’ve had coworkers figure out the
    parasites thing the hard way, also one died.

  7. I like to keep a large bag of lentils handy. They are cheap and easy to
    store. The fact that you don’t have to soak them make them convenient as

    again;I just wanna increase bean protein as an additive to a burger or as a
    bean burger. Thanks for the info. once again.Latin America is exciting
    though,I bought the best raw Passion Flower tea&extract and other natural
    remedies in Brazil . K.

  14. We are still so thrilled w your mustard lentil salad! My spouse asked for
    less meat & meatless days when he does not work (outdoors, nights &
    evenings, very physical) & we find small quantities of meat, shared, to be
    just fine! It’s healthier — my cholesterol went way down. Sun dried
    tomatoes are not popular in Mediterranean countries so are hard for me to
    find. They are considered “vulgar.” Isn’t that nutty? I am sure I can find
    a good substitute. Balsamic vinegar, mmmmm! Uprated!

    cucumbers in it. That sounds like a great addition.

  23. @pastryparrot1 They export stuff they themselves don’t want to eat! The
    good stuff that they DO want to eat and drink, you’ll barely ever see or
    find! Sardinian wines are an example. If you can find any, they are very
    expensive. They do little for export. I was really surprised to find out
    what the actual food is like here. I had a lot of ideas from TV, movies and
    old books. For example, no one eats onion soup here, especially not with
    cheese grilled on the top! xo

  25. @magirecords2004 Howdy, vegan! Please look into the negative health effects
    of eating soy in any form. I was totally upset when I researched this last
    year. Just cuz billions eat it doesn’t mean it’s good for us. sigh

  26. Start with two parts olive oil, one part wine vinegar. Add 1 tsp coriander, 1 tsp oregano. Shake. Pour over salad. Place pomegranite on hood of car in garage. Enjoy salad.
