Question by Marley: Tomato and Potato acne treatment?
I wanted to try this home acne treatment where i cut a slice of tomato and rub in circular motions, then let it dry. then i cut slices of potatoes after that and rub my face with that, but i don’t know if im supposed to let it dry or not. somebody help!
this isn’t going to become my routine i just wanted to try this once or twice to see if it shows results, plus ive never tried any natural acne cures.

  1. That’s a good idea, I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

  2. I think it would work. The acids in tomatoes and potatoes are natural exfoliants that soak into the skin and dry out the excess oil, so let both of them (the potato and the tomato) dry on your skin. There’s an all natural line of skincare called Yes to Tomatoes that’s for oily or break prone skin. There’s also Yes to Carrots for dry skin and Yes to Cucumbers for sensitive skin. I use some of their products and they’re great. I can only assume that their oily skin line is good as well. It’s one of the few brands that I get from Walgreen’s (I’m a total beauty product snob!). It’s all organic (CERTIFIED organic), so I would try some of their skincare after you try your treatment as part of your daily skincare regime to prevent further breakouts.
