  1. There is packaged salads for like $ 2 in the local grocery. Get some cheese, croutons, tomatoes, and salad dressing and have a party oh and tuna is great with it!

  2. the salad i always go for is iceberg or romaine with tomatoes, onion, broccoli, shredded carrots (like with a potato peeler,) roasted peanuts, shredded mozzarella cheese, parmesan peppercorn dressing and extra black pepper. i could live off it.

  3. Just experiment with different combinations of ingredients. Use any vegetables that you like. Try mixing up your lettuces. I love romaine and radicchio together but there are so many options out there. Trying throwing in some herbs like parsley and dill. Maybe add some nuts, seeds, and/or beans. I also happen to love radishes and avocados in salad (although avocados might be a tricky food to take with you on the go). Even fruit can be good in salad (sliced strawberries on a salad with a balsamic vinaigrette is particularly good). Change up your dressing (ideally, make your own dressing and bring it with you). There are no limits! I’m sorry I don’t have a single recipe to share with you. Just experiment!

  4. A salad must have some protein element, if you are going meatless – I like Chick peas salad (Just boiled drained chickpeas plus chopped onions tomatoes, cucumber, salt and lemon).
Or you may add boiled and drained red kidney beans to any salad (red kidney beans plus corn kernels also makes a good salad – plus you can add lettuce if you like and any dressing of your choice)

  5. My salad usually consists of- chickpeas, olives, hearts of palm, dried cranberry’s, and mushroom. i like to add alot of ingredients so that the salad is filling. you can also try different vinegar to change up the taste of your salad instead of balsamic sometimes i will use a honey garlic vinegar. yum
