Maybe you over watered them.
Matthew, you must be over watering them or perhaps you’re soil, the nutrients are gone, in that case, you need to till the soil add a bag of 13-13-13, and some ironite to replenish the nutrients. Tomatoes are easy to grow, you should actually start out with a good potting soil, like Miracle Grow. I grow mine in 5 gallon buckets, that way they are busy blooming on top when they become root bound in the container, they don’t use all of there energy spreading out in the ground, drill holes in the bottom for drainage, you can place some small rocks in the bottom, to help with the drainage, then place your miracle grow potting soil, next, place your tomato plants in the soil, bury plant deep, down to the first leave. I fertilize every two weeks with miracle grow, about 1 1/2 tablespoons to a gallon of water, do not add more, it will burn your plants up. You will need at this time either a tomato cage, or some wooden stakes with twine run between them for plant support, I do it in the beginning so that I can train the plants and support them.
well, apparently after putting out the flowers and fruit they only live for 2 months then die off. Do yo have a dog or animals that may be urinating on them or the soil? Could be the wrong season or weather also. Too many leaves on the tree, remember, you want to grow tomatoes, not leaves, many possible reasons for this.
Try this..I have these and they are so easy and grow without problems.
