Question by jennifer h: What should i grow in the late summer/early fall?
I’m growing tomatoes right now, but after i harvest all of them, what vegetables should i grow in their place? I live in Orange County, California which is Zone 10!

Hey Jennifer,
Having grown up in souther california, I planted turnips near summer. You could plant radish, or onion, or garlic too. Plant green beans. In the fall, after the green beans have stopped producing and are looking scraggly, pull them out and plant garlic.
Plant by mid July for fall harvest, later for spring harvest.

Rutabaga
Globe Onions
LEAFCROPS
Brussells Sprouts
Cabbages
Cauliflower
Fava Bean
Plant by mid August. Use any of the dates from above as well as the Best Dates below.
