Question by KnightLight: What can I make that goes nicely with a fresh salad?
I have lots of salad items in my fridge I need to use, so I want to make salad with dinner tonight, but I’m unsure what to make with it. My first thoughts are pasta and chicken but we’ve had them for the last two nights, so any other ideas would be great.

I always thought a fresh loaf of bread was the answer.
Get a tortilla wrap and put a dollop of bolognese/tomato sauce in the centre. Fill it with cheese, ham…whatever else you want really and fold the sides into the middle so it makes a kind of….pentagon shape. Put it in a grill machine or something and it goes nice and melted inside. It’s like the things they do at KFC exept healthier! I have it all the time with salad

A nice hamburger steak, just make your favorite type of seasoned hamburger, brown really well and remove to plate, saute’ green pepper, garlic and onion in pan and add some water or broth to make a little ‘juice’ then put hamburgers back in and simmer until done…eat with mashed potatoes…
I know you already had pasta but I really love lasagne or bolognaise pasta bake with salad.
Make beef mince bolognaise and use penne or rigatoni instead of spagetti, mix together and pour in to a square glass pyrex dish, grate on your favourite cheeses and bake in a gas 7, 220 degree oven for 20-30 mins, serve with your lovely salad. Yum!

Why work yourself to death? I say make the great salad and cook a can of those already made bread sticks to eat with it. And you are done.
