Question by KellyAnn: Why are yellow spots on my tomato plants?
I have 2 tomato plants, one in the front yard and one in back yard. They both(one is a Topsy Turvy)have yellow spots and look like something is eating the leaves. I live in a wooded area. What can it be? and what can I do?

Is it the fruit itself getting yellow spots? The first link below (scroll down to the 3rd picture) goes to a picture of spotted wilt virus which causes yellow spots on the tomatoes.
If the leaves themselves are spotted, as in the second link below it could be late blight.
The third link goes to a great site with pictures of all sorts of symptoms and what it could be.
It could be you have an insect gnawing on your plants, spray the leaves and the fruit with a pepper spray that will discourage insects from munching your planta.
