Tomatoes will not begin to ripen until they are fully mature. After maturity, it could take 2 to 3 weeks to ripen. When they are fully grown and mature, they will turn a very light green before they start to turn orange and then red.
It all depends on how much sun they are getting. The more sun, the faster they will ripen.
Last year, we had an early spring here with lots of sun and my tomatoes were ripe by the second week of July. Not so this year. They have not even started to ripen yet.

Great info, dear Wanda! I’d love us to return to natural foods and finish all these GMOs, which are harmful to all of us, including environment. Why are we denied to know what kind of crap we eat? Why we do not have info on GMO foods content on the labels, like they have in Europe? I wish people begin to wake up to it. Have a great week, my dear friend!
