Don’t forget to sucker and top your plants! Or they’ll just keep getting longer and longer and not really pump energy into the fruit it already has.
what kind of soil did you use for these crops?
LOOKS GOOD 2 ME!
They do not need to be cooked, but do wash thoroughly.
For Spinach and brocolli you may want to lightly scald them.
You also can add some Italian dressing or Mayo or 1000 island for taste.
You can also add some raisins.
romaine leaves, spinach, broccoli carrots, tomatoes, red and green peppers can all be eaten raw I do not know about the other things though
Oh yeah. Romaine tastes yummy steamed.
I THINK U NEED TO COOK /BOIL BEANS, AND SPINACH AND BROCCOLI. U CAN ADD CHEESE OR MAYO FOR DRESSING.
raw is better. mix it up!
Green salads with raw vegetables are wonderful for you and, no, you don’t have to cook any of the vegetables mentioned above. You might want to cook the beets, however, unless they are baby beets, because larger, older beets are somewhat tough. Also, the carrots should be sliced fairly thinly and the broccoli cut into small flowerettes. Beans, chickpeas and any other peas must be cooked unless you are using canned beans, which are already cooked. Walnuts, sunflower seeds and any other nuts/seeds can be eaten raw, but are tastier if roasted. When I make a salad with the ingredients shown above, I also like to add a little bit of crumbled cheese (bleu, feta or goat cheese) and a handful of dried cranberries. Yum! This is a meal in itself and sooooo good for you.
The beans will have to be cooked unless you buy them canned. toasting the nuts / seeds is an option. What you shouldn’t do is use a store bought salad dressing. Good olive oil and balsamic vinegar is always the best. Don’t for get to use Jersey tomatoes and red onions too!
the kidney beans of course need to be cooked, and the beets can be steamed or boiled everything else is good to go!
u dont need
