Question by Ryou-kun: What is a good and healthy breakfast to make?
Okay, just to let you guys now.
I can’t eat too many sweet breakfast like pop tarts because it makes my blood feel heavy I would say.
I can’t eat cereals because my stomach can’t handle milk in an early morning.
I also can’t eat breakfast like a slice of bread/toast with strawberry w/e anymore because my tounge can’t taste anything from it nor waffles and French stick toast.
I did made a scramble eggs with small sausage, and I am curious if there is any alternative good and healthy breakfast to make.
FYI, I am a freshman in community college.

I buy fresh lentils. Then prepare them the night before. I add water to the pot. Pour in lentils and boil for an hour. Then place it in a bowl in fridge. Next morning I just heat in microwave. Nutritious filled with iron. And yummy. Also baked beans are quick, easy. Iron filled and yummy.

You certainly have a lot of problems when it comes to food. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it give you the energy to get through the morning. Proteins, like eggs, cheese and meat take longer to break down in digestive system than sugars and starch, so you get longer lasting energy. A perfect breakfast would consist of a protein, whole grain bread or cereal, a dairy product like yogurt if you can handle it and a piece of fruit or glass of juice.
Try any of these for breakfast.
Whole grain toast or Whole grain English muffin topped with sliced tomato and cheese. For a hot breakfast, do an opened faced sandwich and pop under the broiler for a few seconds so the cheese melts.
1-2 Soft, Medium or Hard boiled eggs with a slice or 2 of whole grain bread spread margarine and/or low sugar jam or preserves.
Turkey sausage and poached egg on whole grain toast.
Whole grain hot or cold cereals are healthy and good for you. You can eat cold cereal as you would a snack without milk and prepare hot cereal with soy or coconut milk.
Beans (not green beans), lentils, nuts and quinoa also contain a goodly amount of protein. If you can cook enough lentils or beans for a few days, then you can eat them for breakfast. Canned beans are good also. Try a baked bean sandwich on whole grain bread.
It doesn’t matter if you can’t taste what you are eating, you are still getting the nutritional benefits of the food. You should see a doctor about your sudden lack of taste buds.
yes, there is take a glass of milk with honey,it will give you a good energy.
Oatmeal is good for you
My favourite is a cheese and tomato sandwich grilled in the oven until the cheese melts and the tomato is hot.

Eggs with sausage is healthy. You need fat and protein to feel full and to burn fat. They’re not unhealthy to consume at all. Cereal (even whole grain), oatmeal, toast, pop tarts, pancakes or waffles etc are all horrible and will spike your blood sugar provoking hunger very soon. They won’t keep you full and they get stored as fat, not the actual dietary fat… Stick to having eggs with sausage or bacon. Skip the toast. Have some tomatoes, avocados, cucumbers, onions, different salad greens, mushrooms, zucchinis or other veggies added. Mix around with your eggs. Many options. All filling and much healthier than any of the empty carb options many ignorantly view as healthy like “whole grains”.
