Question by sensiblejane: Medifast, Anyone ever tasted the Maryland Crab soup supplement?
I am ordering it for the first time and want to make sure it is not terribly vile like the Cream of Tomato soup is!! Any tips about the Medifast food likes and dislikes would be appreciated!

I have not tried the Maryland Crab Soup because I don’t like seafood, but I can give you my opinions on the foods that I like and dislike. My favorites are the bars (chocolate and mint chocolate), the oatmeals (maple and apple cinnamon), the soups (beef stew & chicken noodle) and the chocolate and vanilla shakes. The cappuccino and the chocolate pudding are also very good. Now onto the things I don’t particularly care for: first and foremost I don’t like the eggs, but that is because I do not like REAL eggs… I think the eggs taste just like real eggs, so if you like real eggs you will probably like them. The only other thing I don’t like is the Chicken & Wild Rice Soup… there are little bits of mushroom (as far as I can tell) that have a horrible taste and texture and give the soup a weird flavor. Other than that, everything is at least manageable but I really think everything else is pretty good. One thing you have to remember is this is DIET FOOD… it WILL NOT taste like a dinner prepared by Emeril Lagasse! The food is good for what it is, but if you are expecting delcicious you will be in for a shock. The best advice I can give you is to go into it realizing that you are not eating this for the taste, you are eating it for results, and Medifast DOES work! I lost 6lbs in my first week, and I am in my 2nd week now and continuing to lose weight and feel really great. Good luck with Medifast, if you still to it, you will get the results you are looking for!
