  7. After Thanksgiving my mom used to make a tomato soup with the left over
turkey frame. Somehow she would boil the left over frame of the turkey and
then discard the turkey bones after making the stock. My mom learned the
recipe from her Polish grandmother. Unfortunately the recipe the recipe was
lost after my mom passed away.I have been looking for the recipe on line. I
have a feeling the recipe in this video is pretty close it looks delicious

  14. Thanks! For some reason I remember my mom using sour cream as one of the
ingredients. Many a recipe was lost when my mom passed. My mother also had
a great tasting recipe for Czernina with dumplings that came from my
great-grandmother. Another was wine made from dandelions that was clear as
a bell and tasted fantastic which was also lost. Thanks to your you-tube
channel I might be about to salvage some of those great tasting recipes.
    Thanks again!

  15. Thank you so much! I will be making this today! By the way, i used your
recipe for bigos and bf really liked it. He said it’s almost like his mom’s
    bigos! :)

  16. you can leave the cream out, it will still be great, to make it thicker
just use a little bit of soup, cool it a bit mix with flour and bring back
to the pot to mix and thicken a bit :) you could use yoghurt for lighter
version but that does not help you if you can’t have dairy.

  17. you are very welcome :)

winter’s day. I also like that most of them are kosher and can be served to

    you

  25. It depends on how you’re using the salt.
That’s an awful lot of salt for one recipe.
What do the directions say how to use the salt?
