Spray it with Windex and rub it with a rag. It is amazing what Windex can do in cleaning.

  1. Pour a whole gallon of bleach on that carpet it should be as good as new afterwards

  2. Try Ivory bar soap. It supposed to get tough stains like tomato sauce out. Just scrub with an old toothbrush and rinse well.

  3. Things You’ll Need:

    Spoon
    Vacuum
White paper towels or light-colored rag
    Cold water
    White vinegar

    Step1
Scoop up the excess sauce from the carpet gently with a spoon. When doing so, start at the edge of the stain and work toward the center. This prevents unintentional spreading of the stain.

    Step2
Vacuum any clumps that remain that you can not scoop up.

    Step3
Blot up the rest of the juice with white paper towels or a light-colored rag.

    Step4
Rinse the stained area with cold water and blot once more.

    Step5
Pour or spray white vinegar onto the stain. Let it sit on the stained area for about 20 minutes.

    Step6
Rinse the stained area with cold water once more and blot dry.

    Step7
Try club soda to remove the stain as well. Club soda is carbonated water and leaves no residue so it is perfect for cleaning stains off carpet.

    Step8
Use a mixture of 1 Tbsp. of hydrogen peroxide and 3 Tbsp. of cold water to remove the stain. When using this mixture, apply to the stain and let sit for 10 minutes, then rinse with water and blot dry.

    Step9
Try rubbing the stained area gently with a damp sponge and lemon juice. You can get the lemon juice from a jar or directly from a lemon. Then rinse the area with cold water.

    Step10
Try using a mixture of 1 tsp. of dish detergent and 2 cups of cold water or stain remover to get rid of the tomato sauce stains in your carpet.
