if you like that dressing it would be, since salmaon nicely picks up any flavors added to it.

Sure, but why? I would just marinate in some garlic and olive oil, pan fry and sprinkle some salt and pepper. If you want the dressing, then put it in a salad and put the salmon on top… or make a sandwich and put the dressing on the sandwich.
You should add cream, and butter to make it creamier. Salmons normally do well when creamier sauce is used.
Also add cream cheese if you’d like or top with grated cheese like parmesan
Why not cook it right in it?
I had BBQ salmon tonight with a sweet oriental sauce.
Do you mean an oil/vinegar vinaigrette dressing with finely-chopped sun-dried toms in it? If your answer is yes then I think it would be better served with a salad to accompany some steamed salmon rather than as a marinade. Better to make a crust/coating for the salmon from finely chopped sun-dried toms, some fine breadcrumbs (grate a piece of 2 day old bread), salt, pepper, a squeeze of lemon juice, a few drops of olive oil and some finely chopped parsley. Press this mixture onto the flesh side of the salmon and cook skin side down in a lightly (olive) oiled pan in the oven. Don’t buy ready made dressings if possible; better to invest in a good sauce book or look on the net.
Sounds good !!!
Maybe add some basil leaves to the dressing. White rice on the side.
I think it sounds very delicous
