Drinking Tomato Juice For The Enjoyment of Others!
Question by Nicole: How many calories are in pot roast?
I have an eating disorder, and I can’t eat something unless I KNOW EXACTLY how many calories I am consuming. I put Salt, baby potatos, carrots, A1 sauce, little bit of tomato juice, Garlic powder, and water in it. I love roast..but I can’t eat it unless I know or I’ll feel guilty and fast for days.

OK problem child – this is the problem – if you have no way to measure – why would bother – but all of the restaurants I know they are posting their calorie numbers but are you sure of the exact numbers (oz) You imply your cooking for yourself – do you cook by weight – without a scale you still don’t know
your body ‘should’ pass out any thing it does not need – it does not understand numbers (that is your brain) maybe you should talk with your dietician doctor
I can’t help but I feel for you ☺
It depends on how much of everything, and how much you eat.

However, I would feel guilty for days if I didn’t tell you that you need to stop obsessing. Talk to a therapist, go to an in-patient clinic for a while if need be. Eat the number of calories your body needs, and allow yourself to go over a bit now and then; it takes an extra 3500 calories to gain a single pound. So an extra 300 calories in a day, really not a big deal. Please, please talk to a therapist, a doctor, a dietitian, whoever you need, whatever it takes. And if you haven’t already, talk to your friends and family.
