Question by Erin: Does this sound good for dinner? Shrimp and Tilapia fish with pasta and vodka tomato sauce?
I have pre-cooked shrimp and 2 Tilapia filets. And some spaghetti and a jar of Vodka Sauce (it’s a creamy tomato pasta sauce)
Does this sound good? With the fish and the shrimp?

Usually fish/seafood are served with white sauces. Probably still good though.
I’d skip the sauce and toss the shrimp/fish with the pasta in butter, garlic and parmesean cheese.
Sounds a little heavy. Maybe toss the shrimp and cubed fish in the pasta with some olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic, salt & pepper.
Serve with a veggie or salad and save the sauce for another dish.
Fish and shrimp sound good together, but I am not a fan of tomato sauces on seafood. Simple butter and lemon sounds best to me.
I’m sorry, but I have to disagree. Shrimp and Tilapia is perfect for the vodka tomato sauce.
Both Giada De Laurentiis and Rachel Ray have spotlighted a vodka tomato sauce with seafood on their shows. They also have added a few tablespoons of cream or half and half to it. They served it over penne pasta, but I often substitute spaghetti if I don’t have penne. Just don’t overcook the shrimp and talipia.
It is delicious!
Enjoy!
