Question by Nathaniel: Is it true that when a skunk sprays you, you bathe in tomato juice and it gets rid of the scent?
Me and my friend were walking together when out of knowhere a skunk sprays us. We literally took a shower 3 times but we can’t get the smell out. We’ve thought of getting a bunch of tomato juice, but it would cost a lot of money and we’re not sure if it works or not. A little help?

Found this at Eastern Market in DC way back when. Kinda love it, probably mostly cause I went to college in Pittsburgh.
Tomato juice, milk… those should work
It helps with the smell but won’t completely remove it.
Mix equal parts of baking soda, peroxide and Dawn dish soap.
Tomatos only ‘mask’ the smell. This method actually removes it.
No, tomato juice does not remove skunk smell. Combine 1/4 cup of baking soda with 2 teaspoons of a dish washing product (such as Dawn) along with 2 pints of hydrogen peroxide. This removes the odor rather than trying to mask it.
