Question by Kindness: tomatoes and grow lights?
I am growing a few small (about 1 foot tall) plants of patio tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. I am limited to my porch since im in an Apt. and they have been getting around 6 hours of sun a day and are just starting to bare fruit. the weather is going to be crappy next week, can i put them under grow lights?

They don’t need grow lights once they become outside plants. They will be fine with normal weather conditions. Once plants get used to real sun, it’s not good to use lights any more. Just be sure they don’t get overly wet and that their soil is draining well if you get lots of rain.
