Question by GraceGene: Ways to jazz up canned tomato soup?
Okay, so I normally make my own homemade tomatoe soup but there are a bunch of cans of tomato soup in my pantry that are still good. I need to use up some of the extra food and don’t want to have to buy a lot of groceries so I wanted to make some soup with a grilled tomato and monzarella panini for dinner tonight for my family. What is a way I can make the tomato soup taste a little more….”classier” I guess? I already use milk instead of water when making it, but what else can I do? I’m not talking about sprinkling goldfish crakers and pepperoni on it, I mean like adding some garlic or parmesan, anything that will “spice it up”! Does anyone have a good recipe that will not require me having to by many groceries?
