you have to dry out the seeds for several months before planting them. It is best to just buy seeds. We have had the best tomatoes by planting them on the north side of our house. They get the morning to midday sun then get hot afternoon shade.

You can buy small tomato plants in places like Lowes and Wal Mart. The seeds are there too. They need air flow and sun. Some plants will give you a head start. Planting some seeds will give you tomatoes later. The soil needs to be dug up and softened.
Tomatos are pretty easy to grow.
If you are going to grow food I would recommend buying a book about setting up a vegetable garden.
Seeds are very cheap, so it is usually better to buy the seeds from the store, they you can get a variety that suits where you live (many of the tomatos you are buying may be grown elsewhere, require a lot care and so on).
One of my favourite tricks with tomatos is plant 2 seeds close together. Then when they grow but are still young, cut one off so you just leave the stem, then graft that stem to the other tomato plant. Having 2 root systems will give you very healthy tomatos.
Other vegetages worth growing are
1. Potatos
2. Carrots
No you have to buy a plant. Go to Home Depot, Lowes, or Target, or local hardware store, sometimes they sell veg plants.
Anway, now you can just put it in the ground. And dont forget to water it.
You can just do a search…….like how to grow tomatoes, you’ll find all the info you need.
Home grown tomatoes are the best by far anyway, they have alot more flavor !
