Question by Jeffrey H: Growing peppers in pots in florida?
I am trying to grow peppers in pots on my porch. They are not doing well at all. They are about the size of cherry tomatoes and then they turn red so I know that is the biggest they will get. Is it too hot, too wet, the soil, the sun? I have tried growing them in the garden and they died from nemotoids. I did buy new soil for the pots but they still had some of the old soil with it. Help!

I have good luck in Florida using Sea Kelp /sulfate of potash Liquid fertilizer and the balanced liquid also with a raised bed of sandy soil . The worst thing is leaf miners use spinosad to spray the plants ,

Don’t let the police in Florida see that…They want your bucks. It could be a violation of the growing Peppers in the Pot ,law.Ask you local agricultural society, but make sure you use a pay phone and don’t give your name.
Innocent and law abiding,it doesn’t matter,it’s just a matter of time before they get you too.
