Question by DEADGIVEAWAY: can I substitute Tomato Soup for Tomato sauce when making Spanish Rice?
I have some Tomato Soup leftover from last night. I want to make Spanish Rice and was wondering if I could use that instead of Tomato sauce? Thanks in advance .

The tomato sauce would have a much stronger concentration of tomato.

    NO. The tomato soup is sweeter and creamier than tom sauce and it just wont be right.

    taste will be different but you can use it. I ‘ve done it and it has been just fine.
