This was our first year at a CSA (we usually just have our on garden), and we were completely overwhelmed by the amount of stuff we got. So much got wasted (fed to the chickens). Next year we’ll be more prepared and I’ll be asking you all for recipes! xo
yummy yummy! I will do this next time when I get my huge stash from our csa weekly… i also make lots of salsa, guacamole, gazpacho and spaghetti sauces, freezing a batch of each and serving the rest for family.
Raw fruits and vegetables that are local and in season are always more nutritious than their cooked counterparts. However, that doesn’t mean that cooked foods are useless. I try to eat a mostly raw diet complimented by hot yummy goodness
