Question by Two Boomboxes: What’s your all-time favorite sandwich and why?
I am a sandwich king, I love sandwiches, and I would like to say that the CLASSIC BLT is my favorite sandwich of all time. It’s my favorite sandwich because it has a perfect combination of flavors and textures.
It has to be made with a good amount of crispy bacon, fresh leafy lettuce (not too much!) and 3 juicy slices of red garden tomatoes off the vine. Cold creamy mayo on toasted white bread.
I love reubens and meatloaf sandwiches too, but I gotta give the nod to the BLT! My all time sandwich champ.
What is your ALL TIME FAVORITE SANDWICH? And why?
Sandwich King is interested. Thanks.

I love Reuben’s as well however lately i have been eating turkey with cranberry sauce on wheat quite yummy
For me, a great french dip beats all others. Not sure why, just have always loved them!
I absolutely love the shrimp and bacon sandwich from The Cheesecake Factory. It’s so delicious. Who knew that shrimp and bacon went together so well. I’m also a big fan of crabcake sandwiches. I love these two sandwiches b/c they incoporate seafood without the seafood being fried and they taste so good. The sauces that are usually used with these two sandwiches are usually “home-made” and taste way better than just ketchup, mustard, bbq sauce or other common condiments used.
A Spam sandwich with all the trimmings. I also like peanut butter with sauerkraut sandwiches. Now I’m hungry.
Salami and havarti on ciabatta with sliced tomato spinch and wholegrain mustard….
salty, fatty, chewy, juicy, leafy, and a little spicy
I can’t go past a decent Smoked Chicken and Avocado sandwich. It must have a little bit of Mayo and be on very fresh, thick cut bread.
Gorgeous, almost religous if done right.
Now you have made me hungry!
Damn you.
A toasted tuna fish sandwich – no frills – with a glass of chocolate milk. Brings back memories of childhood.
My all-time favorite would have to be provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, grated parmesan, and Good Seasons Italian dressing on a roll. I can’t even quite name why it’s my favorite; there’s just something about it…
I also really like grilled cheese (cheddar) on sour dough. (Sometimes with tomato)
I am a sandwich king myself and I like a club sandwich, they are just so dainty.
Four layers of white sandwich bread with
ham and mustard,
tomato and salt black pepper, cracked,
lettuce, salt,
between the layers.
Cut off side crusts and cut into fingers.
Beat that.
And cucumber sandwiches are all so ladylike and regal.
mine would be ham and egg on a bagel if you consider that a sandwich
anything from quizno’s.The sandwiches melt in your mouth.
PB&J can’t beat the classic childhood sandwich.
Roast beef and cheese on freshly made wholemeal bread.Pita bread with egg, beetroot, cold pork, lettuce and sprouts with cranberry sauce.
I absolutely love sandwiches. I have a few favorites:
My favorite summer sammie is a tomato sandwich. Sliced french bread, sliced tomatoes, mayo, and cracked black pepper. I could eat them everyday until winter comes! (I live in tomato country.)
My all time favorite sandwich though is a sandwich that is not made anymore. It was made by the Atlanta Bread Company and it was their curried chicken salad. It was amazing and I would add avocado to it on thick sliced bread. I couldn’t have asked for a better sandwich!
I also love sharp cheddar and tomato grilled cheese sandwiches topped with crisp bacon after they’re grilled. It reminds me of childhood with an adult twist!
Okaaaay…mine is kinda weird….I LOVE white bread with american cheese, yellow mustard, and some potato chips of some kind…….
Another one I got from a lady I love, Ms. Paula Deen of the food network!
She has this banana sammich recipe that is to die for….You get some peanut butter and smear it on white bread. Then you cut up a banana and put that on there. Then you butter the outside of the bread, then fry it up like making a grilled cheese. When done you dip it in a cinnamon/suger mix on both sides of the sandwich..mmm……*drool*
I have two that I like…Home style bread from the bakery…slice it your self…3 slices bread… thin sliced prime rib roast, salt, fresh ground pepper, mayo, top
with 2nd slice of bread…spread home made egg salad & top with 3rd slice of bread. Next sandwich is fresf crab mixed with mayo, sliced green olives, & hard boid egg, chopped.
