Question by Angel Darling: I’M planning a light lunch tomorow of fusilli in a lemon cream sauce?
I’m going to serve it with cheese bread sticks any suggestions of what else i should serve with it, it will have cherry tomatoes broccoli and baby spinach in it so any thing but salad will be greatly appreciated thanks

Steamed asparagus on the side? It’s such a light, clean veggie and I think the flavor would compliment your lemon cream fusilli dish.

  1. Make a hot salad.

    In a saute pan melt some butter and olive oil on low heat. Cover Cook the broccoli 1/2 way through, then add the cherry tomatoes and some pressed garlic cloves. When the tomatoes are 1/2 way cooked add the spinach, 1/4 cup chicken broth and some crushed dried tarragon. Cook 3 more minutes until the Spinach is wilted. Season with onion powder and a squeeze of fresh lemon and fresh ground white pepper. Serve Immediately.
