It’s pretty good isn’t it! Because they’re a chain though, the recipe is top-secret
But I do have a recipe for a relish that’s almost as good!!
1 tbs olive oil
1 small brown onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 small fresh red chilli, halved, deseeded, finely chopped
500g ripe vine-ripened tomatoes, coarsely chopped
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs white wine vinegar
Method
Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring often, for 5 minutes or until soft. Add the garlic and chilli, and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until aromatic.
Add the tomato to the onion mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until the tomato breaks down.
Add the sugar and vinegar, and cook for 10 minutes or until the mixture thickens. Set aside to cool.
500grams is roughly a pound!

A good use of Ciabatta!
First time in my life I’ve heard that word pronounced properly! Bruschetta!
Thanks, Titli ;D
Basil is quite rare here in the Canadania at the moment. I chased around
yesterday for it and couldn’t find any bulk Basil.
I doubt I could grow cups of the stuff in a single day for my pesto recipe
I needed.
Lovey
You have such a wonderful personality, I have so much fun watching your
recipes.
By putting it in your mouth?
Alright grumpy pants, I’m sorry.
You should try bruschetta with butter and anchovies 😀
o/
you’re awesome!!!
Grow some.
Looks healthy and yummie! Definitely gonna try this, seems so super easy
and quick to make love it
Thank you for pronouncing it correctly. As an Italian, if I hear one more
person pronounce it brushetta, I will throw myself into traffic. BUT
antipasti is plural, antipasto is singular. Also what you made isn’t really
the traditional bruschetta.
lots of ‘kh’ in the ‘khudh hafiz’ today :p
So what exactly were you expecting?
Nobody’s grumpy. Just read what I put.
yayyy!!! first comment!, lots of luv from the mid-east titli!!! @->–
What’s the reason for smear(?)ing the garlic on to the cibattas? Is it to
infuse a bit of garlic flavour onto them?
Titli, my mom makes this all the time for summer dinner parties- with a
variation. You can make a cream cheese/yogurt + feta cheese spread, and put
it on the bread. I may have to make one of those right now. Thanks for your
videos, you’ve actually really taught me how to cook! xD
I think adding goat or mozzarella cheese would have been nice
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاتة I love it جميل جداً
If you really want to mess with the YouTube language police you’ll start
off telling how americans and britts pronounce something different and then
you pronounce everything in that video completely wrong (like accentuate
the last syllable in every other word).
very good! A suggestion from Italy: add some cherry mozzarellas and this
bruschetta will be also better!
Well, I would have thought that you knew what I meant when I said grow your
own.
