Question by Peggy Pirate: Looking for a great recipe for porcupine meatballs?
I saw some recipes that called for Tomato Soup and some for tomato juice. Which is better??

Also Tomato soup always has high fructose syrup in it and I’d really like to avoid extra sugars and syrups.

Tomato soup is better. My mom will sometimes use tomato paste. Tomato juice doesn’t sound that great.

  6. “maybe they just don’t mention it since it seems irrelevant to them.”
exactly the point i stated in my first post.

  7. Well obviously they’re not that “awake” if they don’t even consider caring for the vehicle that carries themselves and then again maybe they just don’t mention it since it seems irrelevant to them.

  8. well 130 awake people in over 300 hours of interviews never mentioned diet. so from that i take it is neither important in waking up or being awake.

  9. u used to have a breville-do you like the omega 8006 more than the Breville?

  10. Seriously man how can you be humble when you are soooo darn good? Love ya bro’.
Thanks for the recipes…. at the moment, I’ m addicted the persimmon pudding recipe, which you gave out last year. Simple, practical and goood. yum. Thank you, thank you!

  11. Right? People just don’t get it. My sister always says why don’t I “stop this nonsense” and “eat normal” – it’s a shame that eating natural, healthy foods is considered nonsense, and chowing down on greasy cheeseburgers and processed junk food is considered normal. :/

  12. Nice video… an outdoor vid would be awesome with a recipe!!!!

  17. I hope I am not crossing a line commenting on your humbleness but lack thereof, but I have noticed in the past week or two that you seem markedly more humble, professional and confident. So, good job. =) That soup looks really good, btw.

  18. if you want a better ‘me’ keep on going. but know that the ‘make a better me’ path ends in a dead end. whether it’s yogic powers or mystical states of heavenly beauty. if you REALLY want enlightenment the ‘me’ must be seen through. only then are you left with pure non dual awareness. whatever, we have as many lives as we want here.

  20. oh lord it hard to be humble when your perfect in every way”
keep keepin’ on we all have our ups and downs

  21. Dan I like the video. I mentioned a comment beneath a previous video and made the point that keeping it interesting by looking at things different ways, for example the different colours of a tree leaf? Well, I wanted to elaborate on that. You do have a big ego and self centred person, and the only way you can manage that is to forget about what others say, but accept it when you admit it to self. Then, you must find ways to see how insignificant you are in the universe.

  22. Great recipe!!!so simple so delicious!!!

  26. Mix together your mince meat, onion, garlic, egg and a small handfull of uncooked rice. Form into balls and cover with a can of tomato soup. Cook gently for about 3/4 of an hour, or until well cooked. You can cook on top of the stove or oven. I think tomato soup would be much tastier than tomato juice. I always use the soup. Enjoy.

  27. PORCUPINE MEATBALLS

    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 tbsp. finely chopped onion
    2 c. canned tomato

Combine all ingredients except tomatoes. Form into balls, brown in hot fat. Add tomatoes. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes.

  28. I’ve always used either cream of celery soup or a mix of cream of celery and cream of mushroom.

We aren’t big tomato fans and the cream of celery or the cream of celery / cream of mushroom mix makes a great gravy for potatos lol.
