I have started a little farm in my back yard and was wondering how long it takes cherry tomatoes to sprout? and how much water do I have to give them per day?

Tomato seeds should sprout in about 7-10 days depending on soil temperature. Just keep the soil moist, not soaked. Good Luck.

If the soil temperature is at least seventy degrees your seedlings should break the soil in six to fourteen days. Keep the soil moist, but not soggy, until the new plants have shown up, then reduce waterings until each time the top of the soil has dried out to prevent damping off. If the plants are in pots make sure there are drainage holes in the bottom so they don’t get waterlogged.
