Question by AMCgremlin: Can 2 different tomato breeds be planted in a topsy turvy planter?
I got a topsy turvy planter given to me. I’m wondering if I can plant 1 beefmaster and 1 cherry tomato plant in there together at the same time? It says 2 plants can be planted in it. Thanks much.

Yes, you can. Tomato blooms have a cone that keeps most of the pollen contained and, even if some escaped and found its way into the blooms of the other, the current crop would not be affected. The crossing of varieties would only show if you kept seeds from the fruits that were pollinated by the other type.

Good luck and enjoy!
