Question by On: Dried tortellini recipe ideas?
Im planning to cook some dried tortellini but have no idea what kind of sauce i should make for it. I was thinking maybe a tortellini salad with olives and sun dried tomatoes n basil. Any suggestions?

A great pesto sauce would be a great to your dish instead of just basil. This will give your dish more character and depth of flavors. If you have dried tortellini you can find bottle pesto on the shelf in most markets. You can use this to make a pasta salad or as a Hot main or side dish. You can add Cannellini beans to create a great dish that would have some healthy protein as a plus.
