Question by doctor know: want to make taste great a salsa verda with green tomatoes,cilantro,haberanos,garlic.onions, that taste great?
I’ve been trying to find the salsa sold at Winn Dixie in Miami,Fl thats green and very hot (spicy) but taste very good.I think its made from green tomatoes and the above indergents.if you know what i’m refering to please respond.I live in Tn and have no way of getting the salsa here except by internet..

I think you are thinking of tomatillos not green tomatoes. Try Publix or Wal-Mart supercenter.

It is tomatillos.
This is spicy:
1 1/2 lb tomatillos
1/2 cup chopped white onion
1/2 cup cilantro leaves
1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon sugar
2 Jalapeño peppers, stemmed, seeded and chopped
Salt to taste
1 Remove papery husks from tomatillos and rinse well. Cut in half and place cut side down on a foil-lined baking sheet. Place under a broiler for about 5-7 minutes to lightly blacken the skin.
2 Place tomatillos, lime juice, onions, cilantro, Jalapeño peppers, sugar in a food processor (or blender) and pulse until all ingredients are finely chopped and mixed. Season to taste with salt. Cool in refrigerator.
