  1. You sure can!

  2. i just went and bought a bag of compost,i ll try this today! Can I add this to my cucumbers and potatoes too?

  3. Definitely do it. It’s not too late. Many times the heat can cause plants to drop blooms this time of year but compost tea will feed. strengthen them and get them ready to toss out more blooms when the heat wave breaks.

  4. Can I just do this now with my pepper and tomatoes?i hope its not too late!

  5. What causes leaf curl?? I had to pull up one plant because it was so bad.. I am really discouraged with my tomatoes this year.. I am also having the blossom fall off and no fruit.. I do hope I get some when the weather cools down a little, but here it is almost August! Thanks!

  6. I am going to do this tomorrow. You have great tips :). Thanks for sharing them! I watched your other video on early blight. Made me feel better. I was panicking about my tomatoes and now I am so less stressed. Thanks again!

  7. Great tip! I’ve been growing ghost peppers for 3 years and this is something that really does help. They seem to respond to higher levels of phosphorus during their flowering and I’m hoping it works for my Paper Lanterns and Jalapeños this year.

  8. Wow, thanks for that explanation. My pepper plants are kinda small compared to my tomatoes right now so I was a bit worried that something was wrong.

  9. You give me hope! I live in south tx and both my tomato and pepper plants blossoms are dropping. So its going to be a really long time before they really produce fruit because of our constant high temperatures. I mean the plants are growing for sure thanks to all of your tips!

  10. I hope you’re not lying to me Ray! Because my container tomatoes are starting to drop some of their blossoms! :’-( It has been in the mid to upper 80s here in Oakland Ca these past week. Plus very windy.

  11. Either way is ok. Snip it off if you don’t like looking at it.

  12. Thanks alot Ray, really appreciate the input!

  13. Your feeding routine sounds perfect to me. Very well balanced and mild. I would stick with it. *thumbs up*

  14. Oh thats great to hear! Thank you! are there any special organic fertilizers I should feed my plants to keep them up and going? My current fertilizing routine is Compost tea, Larvae Castings (Homemade), Compost, epsom salt, and Azomite trace minerals.

  15. That environment is perfect for tomato plant growth and tomato fruit production.

  16. Hey Ray, How hot is too hot for tomatoes? Our summers down here top out around 98 degrees (Relatively mild if you ask me) and I plan to grow tomatoes under a shadehouse that should keep the plants 88-90 degrees. Would they still produce in these conditions?

  17. I turn my lights on a 7am and off at 8pm which gives them 13 hrs of light. Seems to work perfecly for all stages of their life.

  18. I have my small baby naga chilli plants inside my house in a box with lots of light as you suggested. My question is; how long do I have to give the plants artificial light per day. Please let me know.

  19. Hi Ray!

  20. Funny guy! Learn some good and simple tips… Now I can relax…Thx

  21. Thanks Praxx for the advice.
Also I would like to know if there is anything else that can be done to help the new flowers? Can I spray blossom set on the flowers? If yes, how often would you spray it?
I heard that people also spray apple juice to flowers?
Praxx could you do a video on how you pollinate your chilli flowers and how often do you pollinate them please? Thanks so much.

  22. I suggest using compost tea each time you would use plain water until the plant look healthy and is growing well. Then cut back to using it once every third wateringinstead of plain water. This will maintain the level of health. High temps or high night temps can cause a plant to drop blossoms. Nothing you can do about it exept continue to care for it. Once the weather stabilizes it will hold the blooms and produce fruit. Thanks for tuning in and Good luck! :)

  23. Dear Praxx
I am a big fan, love your videos and tips they are very practical and to the point.

Usually I just watch your videos for guidance but this time round I need your advice for my hot pepper plants:
    1. Regarding your compostee tip, how often should I use compostee for the pepper plants per week?
    2. All my pepper plants are dropping flowers but have lots of healthy leaves.
The temperatures are below 85 deg F during day and above 60 deg F at night. There are odd days when the tempera
