Question by whatever: What would you remove from a salad with the following contents?
: iceberg lettuce, cucumber, green and red bell pepper, tomato, and olives? I added a lot of random vegetables it seems like and feel like next time I should remove one of them, which one would you remove?
Well, the salad was served with chopped swiss and oven roasted turkey as well as a miso caesar dressing…I was just looking to remove a vegetable and I figured one of the peppers should go, but it seems like more people would ommit the olives. Thanks!

I would remove the olives. I love them, but that is just me.

olives
ermm,i would remove lettuce and cucumber.Try adding more exiting ingredients like avocado or radish. It will taste nicer as well as serve the salad with a good dressing e.g thousand island dressing or honey and mustard
Hope this helps xx
I say remove olives & add some onion, carrots & celery
I would remove the olives and green and red peppers. Add red cabbage and carrots.
i would remove the olives, however that really isnt a big salad. add some mushrooms, carrots, cheese, maybe croutons, and hardboiled egg as well.
I would remove the olives. Chances are if you are eating salad it is for diet purposes and Olives have TONS of fat in them. If your just going for taste I agree that you should re do it all together, try a nice romaine lettuce, some radish, carrot, sunflower seeds, ect.. Add some spice to them taste buds!
I’m not a fan of bell peppers in my salads
The only thing I would change is the lettuce, I would prefer Romaine
the rest is excellent
Sounds like a good salad to me. I would choose Ranch dressing with mine.
I don’t see why any of the vegetables have to go, it’s a friggin salad. But if one would have to go, i’d say the olives.
Personally i adore them, but i’ve noticed that people tend to feel strongly about them, they either love it, or hate it. And olives are more better suited for Mediterranean style salads anyway.
I would take the iceberg out and use spinach and watercress.
NO. Take out the green bell pepper. The olives should stay for color. Lettuce could be optional too, as you can just do a cucumber and tomato salad with olives. That’s a traditional salad dish.
