I think I’ve seen it around here in socal, if not I could just order it online. Thanks.
You may have to go to the east coast to get it
Oh, yeah I think you mentioned that in one of your episodes. I’ll check out the Old Bay seasoning, thanks!
Unfortunately, I found a few years back I have a possibly allergy to it. It’s been hit or miss, but sometimes when I drink I get really sick. Even a little bit like one beer. So I just don’t drink any more. If you are going to add anything, you should look into “Old Bay” seasoning. You’d probably like it.
Do you still drink alcohol? It kinda made me think of a bloody Mary. I might add a lemon, and a dash of pepper and Tabasco sauce.
If you have a juicer you really should try to make it. It tastes great!
Looks good.
tomato juice kills
I found a tomato juice crumb cake that could get rid of at least some of your juice, which is below. You can also cook pork chops and other meats in them; the acid makes it good for a marinade.
TOMATO JUICE CRUMB CAKE
2 c. sifted flour
2/3 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins
1 c. white sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 egg
1 c. currants
Mix together the flour and sugar, then add butter and rub this into mixture until in fine crumbs. Take out 1/4 cup of these crumbs and reserve for top of cake. Add soda, cloves, and cinnamon to tomato juice and add to remaining crumbs. Beat egg well and add along with fruit. Spread in a well greased pan and sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
You can use it as a base for your pasta sauces, add some herbs and spices with it, after frying some onion & garlic, and adding the meat. Same goes when making lasagne, make speghetti and meatballs again using the juice as base .
