If you remove sodium from your diet you will die ! do your research ! use
sea salt like Himalayan salt or Dead Sea salt…. remember … no salts no
electrical conductivity in your blood …. no conductivity in your blood no
love in your heart …
process it a little less than I did and you will have a chunkier sauce.
which can double as a salsa! ~Amanda
Hard to eat a cow raw. -Randy
looks delicious!
Maybe try going raw to stay healthier? Just an idea, by the way sauce looks
good.
I prefer chunky pasta sauce..
Thanks for the info. We of course realize that “no salt” would be
impossible first off and of course your body cannot survive without
electrolytes. With high blood pressure however, a diet change had to be
made and a drastic decrease in sodium intake had to take place as there was
just too much in our diets. What more can I say other than I’m human and my
craving for sweet and salty are … hard to deny ourselves from. -Randy
oh yeah. soooo tasty. as I said, it doesn’t save any money but it sure
tastes great! and if you can make three meals worth at a time like this, it
feels like no trouble at all. we barely edited anything out of this video,
it really only takes 10mins or less to prepare once you have the
ingredients. ~Amanda
Home made sauces are the best, especially when home grown herbs go into it
Thanks for sharing Amanda. I made pasta sauce this past fall and it turned
out well.
That sauce looks really simple and delicious! As someone who is in your
situation and does not need a lot of sodium in my life I would highly
suggest reading labels on ALL the processed food you do eat. Sodium hides
everywhere! Lunch meat is a huge culprit, breads, cheese, and pre-seasoned
meats. I use a lot of garlic, ginger, onion fresh herbs and even lemon or
lime juice to flavor things and you won’t even miss the salt. Google Sodium
Girl (great website). Stay warm ~ Holly
Thanks, I read labels on everything. cheese is probably my worst
high-sodium ingredient that I buy and use. I gave up lunch meat a few years
ago when I was waiting to have gall bladder removal surgery (lunch meat is
known to irritate gall stones) and I just lost the taste for lunch meat so
that was easy to give up. I avoid breads in general – choosing meals that
don’t use breads. I have given up canned and preprepared store bought
meals. ~Amanda
