Question by mm5b: Green tomatoes are brown on the bottom. What is the issue?
I have two tomatoe plants, a German and a yellow pear, on my back porch. One of them (I think the pear) has two nice-looking tomatoes. Until you turn them over. Then they are turning brownish, purplish.
It isn’t squishy like it’s rotton. Just discolored. What’s the deal?
I water it every day, usually in the morning, and the plant itself is quite large and the leaves look good.
I should stop watering it even though the soil looks and feels dry? It also drains out the bottom of the pots…
