Mark Strausman’s Tomato Sauce
–Makes about 9 cups
If you are preparing this recipe in August or September, use fresh plum tomatoes, which are at the height of their season then. Cut them into large pieces, and run them through the food mill just as you would canned tomatoes. Slow cooking will allow the skin to melt into the sauce. For canned tomatoes, Mark likes to use Italian plum tomatoes from the Italian San Marzano Valley. (“CENTO” is one brand.)
4 (28 oz) cans whole Italian plum tomatoes
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 tsp. crushed red-pepper flakes
1 cup Chianti or dry red wine
1 Tbsp. dried oregano
8 leaves fresh basil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Purée tomatoes in a food mill, removing most of the seeds. In a medium stockpot, heat olive oil over medium heat, add garlic, and sauté until golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes. Add red-pepper flakes. While oil is sizzling, slowly add half of the puréed tomatoes and the wine, stirring to mix. Add remaining tomatoes, reduce heat to low, and let simmer. Add oregano, and continue to simmer until slightly thickened, 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
The sauce may be kept in the refrigerator up to 3 or 4 days in an airtight plastic container or in the freezer for up to 1 month.

In America, how long do you have after PE to get ready for next lesson?
Does anyone know what font Ingrid uses in her video? Please and thank you!
Omg if you’re making that face when smelling your pits, no amount of wipes
is doing the trick. I’m certain you could take a quick shower in the amount
of time you’re wiping your body down: you’re just spreading it around and
adding fragrance; it doesn’t clean and you need to wash after sharing
equipment! And it would cost much less.
Woah, I totally didnt know how to get ready after working out!! Thank
goodness you made a video on this because I just had no idea what to do!
Could you also make a video on how to brush your teeth and how to breathe??
coming from someone who is allergic to gluten i have no idea why you would
buy gluten free bread if you dont have an aversion to it?! it seems as
though this gluten free fad has just come around and for my whole life ive
wished i could just have NORMAL food! unless you are allergic to it the
benefits of eating a gluten free diet are little to none! if you want to
eat healthy ingrid just buy whole wheat seeded bread xxx
Yuck! You need to take a real shower after working out.
Love the sandwich idea! But, you should show some recipes that are
nut/pesto free. A lot of people, including myself are allergic.
I just can’t help but say that that pesto looks like dog shit lol sorry if
I ruined anyone’s appetite.
You butter the bread BEFORE it goes in the toaster? Mind blown.
Geez thats a lot of effort after a workout. Why not just rinse your body
under the shower faucet instead of a full-blown shower?
I really hope that Ingrid does just as well as Blair and Elle Fowler. She
deserves so much for the hard work she puts in to her videos. Not only is
she consistent but she also gives us different things like adding a DIY
breakfast sandwich to a makeup tutorial. Her editing is great and she’s
just over all awesome. Blair gets paid thousands of dollars to put her
video’s on youtube and then goes a month without uploading. Thumbs up
Ingrid.
You don’t eat before you workout? I have to or else I end up fainting.
Ingrid, your videos are awesome. I’m so addicted to watching them lol. Love
you!
What did she put on the inner corner of her eyes?
I make beauty videos on my channel, and it would mean the world to me if
you checked it out(:
Great Recipe but you probably want to use egg whites instead if you really
want a “Healthy Breakfast Sandwich”

Dry shampoo isn’t good for your hair
Wiping your whole body down with those stupid wipes can’t possibly be any
faster than pulling your hair up and washing yourself in the shower real
quick. Like that’s just gross.. Those wipes are only good for kids who have
p.e. During the day
I`m sorry you don`t have time to shower but to put that much makeup on?
better takr a shower and look clean and then apply makeup on the go later.
lovr your breakfast!!!
Sandwich!!! <3
So fatty. And hair looks even greasier in that knot. Girl get your life
together.
This was such a great video, Ingrid! I really enjoyed it and I love that

I just adore your videos so much Ingrid, you put in so much effort and
