    What would make this soup perfect is if you start by sautéing diced bacon,
    then sauté the vegetables in the bacon fat, maybe a little butter.

    Hi, i live in Europe and here the chiken soup is not commonly available so
    could i simply use water ? If not pleas give me another solution in

    I made this without the potatoes and ham, left out the flour, and added
    diced chicken and some noodles. It was delicious.
