Question by paulaliz63: what caused my home canned tomatoes to float to the top of the jar and watery looking juice is on the bottom?
I didn’t add any water to the jars, just tomatoes, lemon juice and salt.

Its normal for tomatoes to do that, the water and the pulp will separate when it stands for a long time, even Ketchup will separate some and you have to shake it up or you will just get water on your first squirt.
