Question by Armenianboy: I’m trying to sun dry tomatoes in the sun and i could use some help.They darken?
Hi, im trying to sun dry tomatoes and they get dark from the sun, i cut them in half to preserve time because im trying to make them in bulk, and using the oven is not an option because it uses up too much electricity. When i sun dry them they get really dark, and my theory is that it is because the temp has been really hot and the sun has been strong these couple of days, but i would still like other people’s opinion on why they get dark, and any ways of prevention . Thank you in advance.
