Could be horn worms…these critters are mean and will eat an entire tomato garden and not even say thank you. I found a natural dust that has bad bacteria in the dust…dipple dust i think its called. Anyway…i dust my plants with this powder…the horn worms eat the leaves and their stomachs explode. Its the only thing i found that works. If they are big green caterpillar looking critters..then you have horn worms. Dont try and handle them or pic em off…they are vicious and will bite. If you see one..cut it in half with scissors…gross but effective.

Youtube is seriously annoying lately. It has been shortening the videos I
watch by random amounts of time! Even this one. Well… thanks for the vid,
you’ve reminded me to start some annuals that I haven’t started yet.
Your welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed! More updates to come, stay tuned! Brad
Thank you for taking the time to upload this video it’s helped me a lot!!!
Again thanks
You can’t plant tomatoes in the same spot year after year. There is disease in the ground you can not get rid of. You must set up a schedule so you plant tomatoes in a spot only once every three years and either plant something else or plant nothing the other years. The disease dies if it has no tomatoes to infect. Also you should inspect your tomato plants to see what kind of bugs, if you have to go out at night with a flashlight, you have to do it. Also don’t water the leaves when you water and if you water do it in the early morning so leaves will dry during the day. Remove all dead or yellow leaves close to ground. This slows disease. Do not spray bug spray because this will kill bees pollinating your tomato which makes less bees and less pollination and less tomatoes. If you see bugs on your tomatoes knock them off by hand into a bucket of soapy water. If they are really small spray with soapy water. Spray under leaves too.
I grow my tomatoes in containers. I rotate the soil every year and make a burn pile of the previous years soil. I burn all my leaves and yard trash on top of the soil. This kills most critters that are in the soil. I also use Sevin pesticide on the plants and the soil beneath the plants. If you want great tomatoes, these things will help. I also use a fungicide because I grow only heirloom tomatoes which are very susceptible to fungus’s.
