Question by Kaapikad: grow green chillies or tomatoes on vase ?
I like flowers and brought a lot of small vases , the vases are still there and I feel like growing some vegetables on it . They are not really big . Will they be able to hold green chillies or tomatoes , or wat else . Can I just use the seeds of the store brought green chilli ?? :-))

Chili peppers and tomato plants need quite a lot of space for roots and need good drainage, so a flower vase with no holes in the bottom won’t work. You need flower pots with drainage.

There are small, patio varieties of tomato that do well in smaller pots. Chilies are quite easy to grow from seed, thought they need a lot of sunlight and take quite a long time (4-5 months) to mature.
