i found out that tomato soup helps fight off “cold”.

I love italian wedding style soup, but I don’t think you can make it, you usually have to buy it in a can. you can find it in almost any grocery store. it has cool little noodles, broth, tiny bit of spinach, hamberger, and carrots. good luck, and fight off the cold!

I made this recipe last night and everyone in my family loves it.
Taco Soup
Ingredients
# 1 lb ground turkey or lean ground beef
# 1 large onion , chopped
1 (1 ounce) package hidden valley ranch dressing mix
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans
1 (16 ounce) can chili beans (hot or regular)
1 (16 ounce) can whole kernel corn
1 (8 ounce) can diced Mexican-style tomatoes
1 (8 ounce) can diced tomatoes (any flavor)
Directions
1.
Brown meat and onions and drain.
2.
Mix ranch dressing and taco seasoning into meat.
3.
Without draining, add all of the other ingredients.
4.
Simmer 1 hour.
Serve with tortilla chips broken on top and top with shredded cheddar cheese.We sometimes sprinkle chopped green onions on top and add a spoonfull of sour cream.
Home made tomato soup
“Very quick and flavorful!”

Ingredients:
1 lb. home canned or tin canned whole tomatoes
2 cups milk
2 Tbls butter or margarine
1/8 tsp soda
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Place tomatoes in 1 qt pan. Put milk and butter in seperate pan, begin heating both–do not boil. When tomatoes are hot-not boiling stir in 1/8 tsp soda and stir. Pour into milk and stir. Remove from heat. Season to taste. This can be doubled or tripled if desired, but soda does not have to be increased.
