Question by Hodge: Adding lemon juice to a pasta meal?
Ok so I’m just gonna throw together a pasta meal tonight. I plan to cook Linguine add cut cherry tomatoes, green beans and add a tomato and mascarpone stir through pasta sauce and season with salt and cracked black pepper, my question is that I still have some lemon in the fridge from when I cooked fish, would it be a good idea to squeeze some lemon juice onto the meal at the end of cooking or will it make it taste weird?

A little will do no harm – A drop of white wine might be even better

Adding lemon will make it fantastic! I love a basic pasta with veggies and just grated parm cheese, salt, pepper and lemon juice – no need for a tomato sauce.
It should be really much tastier than without!
