Question by HaiThereDelilah: What to make when you barely have any food?
We have pasta, rice, milk, tomato soup, sweet potatoes, Mac and cheese in the box and that’s pretty nasty, ramen, chicken and dumplings in a can very nasty, canned veggies, pancake mix, syrup, peanut butter, bisquick, cranberry juice, cranberry sauce, canned tomatoes and idk what else, I really want a meal though. Not something like a bowl of ramen so can I have some recipes?

Your question reminds me of the show chopped, where contestants get random items that don’t go together and they have to find a way to make a meal lol. Here’s my try at it:
1) Take the chicken and dumplings, heat them up and put them over pasta. you could use the Mac and Cheese noodles and not use the cheese to mix them together. If you don’t like that, you could make buiscuts using bisquick and then pour the chicken and dumplings over that.
2) Breakfast-Pancakes. I like to spread peanut butter on my pancakes, then top them with syrup, they are pretty good.
3) Rice and Tomato Soup. Cook the rice, and then you can take the canned tomatos and canned tomato soup and combine them all. I would take the soup and the canned tomatos and cook them together first, then cook the rice individually, then add them together.
4) You could also do rice and veggies with butter, pasta and veggies with butter.
If you had eggs you could make this go much further. 1/2 dozen is usually only .79.
Another thing to do is go to ‘allrecipes.com’ and select ‘indgridients’. You can then plug in up to 6 ingridients and it will return meal ideas for you.

Where abouts are you located?
I think my neighbour has more experience at growing tomatoes and has lots more greenhouse space. However, we found lots of small tomatoes on the plants in our greenhouse this afternoon
That looks lovely! Same here on the tomato front…not nearly the number of fruit I usually get.
Looks very appetizing indeed!
