I don’t think you can, but try not to sit on your knees a lot, so you dont get dirt and everything on your pants, and if you do get mold after all, just wash it off in the machine twice, fully, and put bleach on it
What do you think? Answer below!
These look interesting but I am not sure how they would compare to being
grown in the ground.
Wow that’s a sturdy tomato! I thought it was a small tree!
Yeah these really only work if you are good about watering on a frequent
schedule, which probably isn’t most people. lol
That was perfect timing! I have two that need to be filled and I’ve haven’t
tried the tomato topsy turvy yet. I did try the strawberry one and it
didn’t work too well…I ended up throwing the whole thing out. thanks!
I have two very big hawks in my oak tree an they mess mine all up!!
just got tomatillos and lemon tree from a local garden centre, so excited!
My neighbor used these for his tomatoes last season, but didn’t have much
luck. I think it was because he didn’t take care of them though. lol Thanks
for sharing!
I have made my own with buckets in the past. Never been too successful with
them. Chuck
The old wheel barrel and shovel is what I use too! I have one of those some
where too thanks for reminding me.
In the ground is MUCH better. These are good in that you don’t have to
stake anything and it keeps the tomatoes out of the reach of many bugs like
ants and also rabbits. They look pretty nice too when you have fruiting
plants on them.
Good tips
I like to use spent pop bottles for cherry Tomatoes. Nice how to video.
Thanks Steve.
By mold I assume you mean plant diseases?
Plant them outside in full sun and use a seaweed solution (in Oz we have seasol, don’t know if you have it were you’re from) once a fortnight. Its organic and strenghtenes up plant
I’ve never had mold on any of those. Have you been overwatering them?
So if your plants are inside growing mold, that means you have watered them too much, I have indoor plants and they were molding in the dirt, it was gross and my mom told me to much water. Now that i dont water them alot they dont mold.
