I have a Big Boy also, lot of plant, not many flowers yet. How are you
growing this to be so tall? Any special fertilizer or methods?
I used a rototiller on the bed before planting and tied 2 cheep tomato
cages together. One in the ground over the plant and the other zip tied
upside down to the one in the ground. The cage support is now around 7
feet. I anchored the cage to the wall so wind would not knock it down. I
only fertilized it at planting with “Vigoro” Tomato and Vegetable plant
food. I don’t use mulch or anything. I just water with the hose when the
soil gets dry. That and the good Southern California weather!
