I need a recipe using ground beef. What’s your best recipe?

1 lb lean ground beef
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 cup water
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
4 ounces taco sauce
3 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces corn kernels
4 ounces sliced olives
1 bag Fritos corn chips, 10 ounce size
2 cups Mexican blend cheese, shredded

Toppings
tomatoes, diced
green onions, diced
sour cream
shredded lettuce

1. Brown the ground beef with the onions and garlic.
2. When all the pink is out of the meat add the seasoning mix, water, cream cheese, corn, 1/2 the olives and Taco sauce.
3. Let this simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Crush the Fritos chips (I used the chili flavored ones, but plain will work fine).
5. In an 8×12 casserole dish, layer 1/2 of the Fritos, then 1/2 the meat filling, and then 1/2 the cheese (regular cheddar will work also, I just prefer the combined cheese flavors).
6. Repeat the layers and top with the remaining olives.
7. Bake at 375° for 20-25 minutes, or until it is warmed completely and the cheese is melted.
8. To serve, you can top with shredded lettuce, the diced green onions (tops included), diced tomatoes and a shot of the sour cream.

    Casserole Italiano

    1 lb. ground sirloin
    1/3 cup water
    1 can campbell’s tomato soup
    1/3 cup onion (chopped)
    1 medium clove garlic (chopped)
    1 teaspoon oregano
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 cups wide egg noodles (semi cooked and drained)
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    In cast iron skillet brown ground sirloin and drain, add onion, seasonings mix well then add tomato soup, water and noodles mix well gently. Put into casserole dish sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

  4. Italian Ground Beef Casserole Recipe

    Ingredients
    * 1 pound ground beef
    * 1 medium onion, chopped (can ommit onion)
    * 1 jar spaghetti sauce (I dont use the whole jar I use about half or a lil more)
    * 1 cup sour cream
    * 1 package (12 oz. size) grated mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
    * can also use cheddar .
    * 1/2 stick margarine
    * 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
    * 3 Tablespoons of grated can use kraft canned parmesan

    Directions
    1. Brown ground Beef and onion
    2. After cooking the meat add the speghetti sauce
    3. Pour ground beef mixture in a small to medium baking dish
    4. Mix sour cream and the 12 oz package of grated cheese together in a bowl then pour over the ground beef
    5. place the crescent rolls over the cheese mixture
    6. melt the butter and mix the parmesan cheese with the butter then pour on top of the rolls
    7. bake for 20-25minutes or until the rolls are golden brown

  5. Dads casserole
    4-6 servings 50 min 15 min prep

    8 ounces egg noodles or wide egg noodles
    1 lb ground beef
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 teaspoons salt
    2 teaspoons sugar
    16 ounces tomato sauce
    1 cup sour cream
    8 ounces cream cheese, softened
    6 green onions, minced
    1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

    Heat oven to 350 degrees.
    Spray 2-3 quart casserole with non-stick cooking spray.
    Cook noodles as directed on package.
    Brown beef with garlic until cooked through.
    Drain.
    Add salt, sugar and tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Combine sour cream, cream cheese and onion.
    Layer 1/2 of the noodles then 1/2 of the meat mixture in casserole dish.
    Spead with sour cream mixture.
    Top with remaining noodles and the tomato sauce.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake for another 5 minutes.

    1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    1 rib celery, finely chopped
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 small green bell pepper, chopped
    1 can (14.5 oz) tomatoes, chopped, undrained
    1 jar (16 ounces) spaghetti sauce
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 jar (4 ounces) mushrooms, undrained
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    1 teaspoons Italian seasoning
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    8 ounces medium egg noodles
    8 ounces sour cream, light
    8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
    1 bunch (6 to 8) green onions, with tops, chopped

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Brown ground beef, celery, onion, and green pepper. Drain off excess fat.

    Add tomatoes, sauce, garlic, mushrooms, pepper, Italian seasoning, and salt. Stir well and simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Prepare noodles according to package directions. Drain.

    Stir in sour cream, cream cheese, and green onions; stir well. Spoon half the noodle mixture into a greased, oblong baking dish. Top with half the meat mixture. Repeat layers.

    Cover and bake at 350F for about 50 to 60 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

    Servings: 4 to 6
