Now that I’ve added some length it is about 85 ft x 75 ft. in tillable
ground….about 90 ft x 80 ft inside the fence. So glad you enjoy the
vids….
Just wanted you to know….we are getting rain at this moment!! Under a
severe thunderstorm warning until tonight. Hope we get enough rain to help.
Hi, I’ve enjoyed your video’s. How large is your garden? I think you said
90′ long but how wide. Enjoy the siesta and AC!
I plant the same peas. I like the Pink Eyes myself. But my wife likes the
Knuckles. So you can guess which one I planted the most of.
Yep…Knuckles…whatever it takes to keep the peace. We still haven’t
had any rain. The bad storm Fri night blew thru here dry. Had storms all
around last night, but no rain. And the storms missed us again this
afternoon. I’m still watering, trying to keep things going.
Awwww…Linda, that ‘s so sweet! And you would too, if you could!! There is
some serious prayers for rain going up…..even the trees are showing
stress now. I saw an entire cornfield dried up yesterday…what a pity. You
can look for all this to affect the grocery store prices sometime this
summer. The drought and heat is widespread.
Thank you for this video. I had the same issue with my heirloom beefsteak
tomatoes last year. I kept tying them up and they kept falling over a
couple days later. I am glad to know why my plants got sick though (and
that I wasn’t alone in that). Thank you for explaining it all to me. My
other heirloom tomatoes gave an over abundance. I was amazed by it all last
year. Thanks again!
This is the first year for Knuckles for me, doesn’t matter though…..my
whole family LOVES crowders so I know we’ll like them. You can’t beat those
Pink Eyes for taste; they are wonderful. I still have a couple pint jars of
some tasty pear relish to go on the side; all I’ll need is a piece of
cornbread and a slice of onion. I’ll be in hog heaven, as they say. LOL!!
I wish I could send some rain your way. We’re still getting it nearly every
day and disease is setting in because of it. It stormed last night and
rained again today. So far my little rabbit fence is working. I tried to
only plant as many tomatoes as I had cages but missed it by 5. Those plants
are on the ground and not doing as well. Your sweet potatoes are awesome,
mine are just starting to spread.
